My story

​A Space Created by Experience, Held with Heart

​It has been a long road, but I believe I am finally where I am meant to be.

​After surviving domestic abuse and navigating the complexities of narcissistic personalities, I learned the hard way that the aftermath of trauma is often a deep, quiet isolation. During my darkest times, I found it difficult to open up. When I finally did speak to friends or family, I often felt a sense of regret or exposure—I realized what I truly needed was a "third space." I needed somewhere safe to go where I could simply feel normal again, make new friends, and temporarily leave my burdens at the door.

​I couldn’t find a space that fit my situation back then, so I decided to create it myself.

The Body Mind HUB is that space. While we offer a sanctuary for trauma release and healing, this is also a place to simply unwind. Whether you are looking to escape the "mundane" cycle of housework, seeking a break from the constant demands of childcare, or rediscovering the womanhood you feel was left behind years ago—this is your diverse space to take back what is yours.

​We are open to every scenario. Today, isolation has become a silent epidemic in the UK, leading many of us into a cycle of rumination and feeling lost. We want to break that cycle.

Our history

​Our History: The Evolution of the HUB

​The Body Mind HUB (formerly Body Mind Rehab) first began its journey around 2010. What started as a small presence on Facebook soon grew into a dedicated community on Instagram, fueled by a passion for true, integrated healing.

​My roots began in the physical: for 13 years, I have worked as a Body Therapist, specializing in massage, fitness, and sports injury management. Helping clients navigate pain management gave me a front-row seat to how the body holds onto our stories.

​From Body, to Mind, and Back Again

​As my practice grew, so did my fascination with the "Mind" side of the equation. I studied Mentoring and Coaching, driven by a lifelong love for Psychology and self-help. I began to see a beautiful transformation in my clients: when we worked on the body, the mind followed—and when we worked on the mind, the body healed.

​I became obsessed with Emotional Intelligence and the vital role of Hormones—those essential biological functions that can dictate our mental wellbeing. I realized that health isn't a straight line; it’s a loop that runs from body to mind and back again. This is where the name Body Mind was born.

​Why the HUB?

​In the early days, I chose the name "Rehab" as a catchy, creative "twist" on wellness. It wasn’t about a clinical facility; it was about the idea of rehabilitating our sense of self. It caught people's attention, but as the business grew, it became something much bigger.

​It evolved into a HUB—the central point where real integration takes place. The HUB is now the "umbrella" for every branch of wellbeing you see on this site. It is a living, breathing space that keeps developing, constantly opening new doors to the vast world of wellness.
